Lester is the newest addition to our team! Who says helpdesk, says Lester, because helping customers and providing support daily is a passion. Next to other passions like collecting records and cycling through Ghent. 

 

 

 

 

Hi, Lester! Introduce yourself!

I am Lester from Ghent and the newest addition to the Paddle team. I provide customer support and help customers as well as possible via the Paddle helpdesk!

I am fascinated by webdesign. It is incredible what results you can achieve with graphic design because it gives the website a character. Graphic design is a passion for me. That's why I quickly learned to work with photo-shopping programmes.

In my spare time, I am always busy with music. I collect vinyl records and music in all its forms. My music collection was outdated, so I am also selling them.

Besides that, I love cycling through Ghent. Cycling is fun, and you also help the planet.

What is your favourite animal? Do you have a pet?

I love cats! Unfortunately, I don't have one at home, but hopefully, that will change soon. 

Imagine tonight; the team goes to a karaoke bar together. Which song would you like to sing?

I would choose an absolute classic! I would request Billy Jean by Michael Jackson. I know that single by heart.

You can choose a dish for the rest of your life. Which word would you choose?

I'll go for a typical Belgian dish! Ham and chicory rolls in cheese sauce. The dish is better known as "Hespenrolletjes in kaassaus" in Dutch. It is the ultimate comfort food, and I can make the best ones in Ghent. Suppose I may say so myself.

If you could travel in time, which year would you choose and why?

I would travel to the year 2060 and definitely to the future, when robots might serve us. I am a massive fan of Star Wars films, too. Hence my great interest in science fiction and everything around it.

Now a more serious question! What are your challenges for the coming time, and what does your job entail?

As Customer Support, I support customers and help them with questions. When someone has a question for the helpdesk, it comes to me. 

I also support ongoing projects and learn about the Paddle CMS Platform daily. Our CMS is constantly evolving and growing.

What are your biggest challenges for the coming time?

My biggest challenge is to learn more about the CMS every working day and, in this way, broaden my interest in web design. In addition, I want to continue to help customers daily. 

Paddle is a great company. The team learns every day from each other, a permanent challenge!
