Meeting and eventcenter Staf Versluys Bredene
The Paddle CMS platform also contributes to the cultural sector. The meeting and event center Staf Versluys in Bredene needed a new website that was visually more appealing, with a navigation structure focused on the visitor. An additional sub-website for the annual hospitality fair in Bredene made this project an exciting challenge. We entered into a collaboration with Staf Versluys.
We had a very positive experience with Paddle. Our project manager consistently closely monitored our questions and requests. He also brainstormed with us, so that we arrived at the best solutions together. And the integration of our website with the UiT in Vlaanderen database is very convenient.

Visitor-centered approach
The meeting and event center Staf Versluys, also known as MEC Staf Versluys, wanted to once again prioritize the visitor on their website. A beautiful design and a navigation structure that guides website visitors more than ever in finding what they are looking for.
A website that aligns with the modern meeting rooms, auditorium, and event hall that the center provides to businesses and associations. In short, to be digitally strong and up-to-date in a safe manner.
In collaboration with the dynamic communication team of Staf Versluys, we fulfilled those wishes. And the result speaks for itself: an intuitive structure and attractive design with large photos, featuring clear call-to-action buttons that encourage action.
Clear navigation and attractive design
It started with determining the new navigation structure. Which buttons and menu items are needed to help visitors as much as possible in their browsing experience on the website? We combined our expertise with the needs of Staf Versluys and together arrived at the best navigation structure.
The team behind the meeting and event center gave us free rein in graphic design. Our designers made several proposals with attractive colors and layouts, always considering accessibility and user-friendliness.
Then, the event center team provided the necessary feedback and selected the best design. The result speaks for itself. It became an intuitive main navigation and a breathtaking design with large photos that immediately capture the visitor's attention.
The main navigation consists of clear call-to-action buttons or "top tasks" that guide visitors in their browsing experience and encourage them to take action.
Easy Management
Another requirement of the Staf Versluys Center was an easy-to-manage "backend" of the website. With the Paddle CMS Platform, no team member needs to have technical knowledge to make adjustments, additions, and manage content. We provided them with the necessary training. After that, they could easily and quickly manage their entire website through our CMS.
Additional Integrations
The website of the event center naturally couldn't do without events. That's why we provided a full integration with the UiT database. Our UiTinVlaanderen module includes a complete filtering system with search functionality for activities by type, location, and date.
Subwebsite: Horecabeurs.be
The team behind Staf Versluys is also the proud organizer of the annual Horecabeurs in Bredene. It is a four-day event that will be organized for the 15th time in 2024.
Such a large event naturally requires a clear and attractive website. We also had the honor to help with that. Horecabeurs.be, as a sub-site of Staf Versluys, also received a facelift.
The clear front-end immediately guides visitors to the right place. A beautiful countdown clock also shines on the homepage. Moreover, visitors or entrepreneurs can quickly find their way in the list of hospitality exhibitors with an advanced search filter.
There was a need for a separate website for the Horecabeurs to ensure smooth communication with exhibitors and visitors. The sub-website horecabeurs.be with the Paddle CMS Platform is perfect for this.

Short communication line
At Paddle, we always maintain contact with our customers as efficiently as possible. The communication line is therefore short, with one project manager as the central point of contact for each client. The project manager then communicates directly with the developers. This way, we avoid administrative hassle and work smoothly and efficiently.
