The website of the municipality Stabroek has been migrated to the new Paddle Content Management System (CMS). How did you experience this?
We started this migration project with clear planning and agreements, set out by project leader Naomi. It is a big step with many facets. Thanks to perfect supervision, we were able to complete the project successfully. We are very satisfied with the cooperation.

The municipality of Stabroek leapt digitalisation. Why was the step to the new Paddle CMS in Drupal 9 important?
Because we have a small team, our community needs a CMS that is very easy to work with. That is why we chose the Paddle CMS Platform because it does not require an IT person to make changes to the website.
We chose to migrate our website to the new Paddle CMS Platform (Drupal 9). Our website was previously running on the kanooh CMS Platform (Drupal 7). It quickly became clear that the digitisation wave, reinforced by the corona crisis, is one that we as a local government cannot afford to miss.
In the new system, the available modules and links are more performant and powerful. API integration is also easy and the user interface has been greatly improved. The possibilities are more extensive and the changed operation is well seen.
In addition, it is also important that the website is and remains secure thanks to the central updates of the CMS. Most software products age, but that should not compromise information security. It is therefore inevitable that local authorities and organisations will have to update their websites in the future.
Because we have a small team, our municipality needs a CMS system that is very easy to work with. Therefore we have chosen the Paddle CMS Platform.
How did the structure and graphic design come about?
We have adapted the navigation structure of the website to the current reality. The starting point was the frequently visited pages by visitors.
We also learned a lot from the corona crisis. We had to change gear quickly, for example, to enable good appointment management. These frequently visited pages were then better integrated into the structure.
Which module or integration is indispensable for you?
The citizens' affairs department can work much more comfortably thanks to the online appointment system. Our physical location will even be adapted to the current online system because it simply works much better.
In addition, the possibilities with web forms are very broad. You can make tables and offer a very nice online service with them. We notice great satisfaction among citizens.
